The Confirmation and Catechesis Series is a dynamic new supplemental series developed by Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J. Ph.D. to help young adults prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation and their faith life beyond by introducing science-based apologetics. The course provides contemporary scientific evidence supporting the existence of God, Jesus, the afterlife and the Catholic Faith. This series is an additional resource to your existing confirmation program that will help students better appropriate the sacramental formation.  

Participants who complete this series gain a stronger intellectual foundation for their beliefs, making them more likely to embrace Church teachings and deepen their spiritual lives through a greater understanding of the rational basis for their faith. The series includes:

• Scientific Evidence of Jesus' Life, Passion, and Resurrection from the Shroud of Turin
• Scientific Evidence for the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and the Intercession of Mary

Digital Takeaway Book: A comprehensive guide summarizing each of the four main topics. This can be digitally viewed or downloaded from within the course. 

Facilitator's Manual: Instructions for using videos in retreats or as supplements to Confirmation and Catechetical classes as well as discussion questions and group activities. This can be digitally viewed or downloaded from within the course.
